Qualifications & Skills

About the Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented QHSE Administrator to support our HSE operations. This position is responsible for employee onboarding, training and competency, HSE administration, PPE & Safety supplies, Client Compliance, records & data management of our safety programs.

The successful candidate will work closely with HSE, Operations, Supervisors, and field employees in a fast-paced environment.

This is an office position, Monday-Friday with some after hours/on call requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, orientations, and Short Service Worker processes.
  • Coordinate contractor orientations and maintain onboarding records.
  • Support Emergency Response Plans, fire evacuation procedures, and muster point requirements.
  • Participate/Lead company safety meetings and Health & Safety Representative meetings.
  • Maintain HSE documentation and assist with audits, COR/SECOR requirements, and client compliance requests.
  • Maintain client compliance registries, including ISNetworld, ComplyWorks, PICS, Avetta, RigUp, and Veriforce.
  • Assist with incident, inspection, corrective-action, and WCB documentation.
  • Work closely with Operations and field supervisors to ensure personnel are properly qualified and field-ready.
  • Perform other HSE and administrative duties as required.
  • Support QHSE Manager in incident, accident and ERP coverage.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in safety, compliance, administration, or a similar role.
  • Oilfield, construction, industrial, or other safety industry experience is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and use HSE, training, and field-management software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
