Indeed Job Title: Jr. Service Advisor / Customer Service SpecialistSalary: $23.00–$26.00 an hourJob Type: Full-timeJob Description

Are you highly organized, process-driven, and looking to build a stable career in the automotive service industry?

We are hiring a Jr. Service Advisor & Customer Service Specialist to support our regional operations across Vancouver Island. This is a unique hybrid role that blends frontline customer service with essential quality control and backend operational auditing.

This position requires flexibility to travel as needed between our shop locations in Nanaimo, Duncan, and Colwood to provide critical counter coverage during scheduled days off and peak times. When you aren't covering a front counter, you will be driving regional growth behind the scenes.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):

  • Front-Counter Coverage: Greet customers, manage vehicle check-ins/check-outs, and confidently communicate inspection findings to make service recommendations at the counter across designated locations.
  • Process & Work Order Auditing: Review digital vehicle inspections (DVIs) and work orders across our shop network. You will spot discrepancies and ensure our strict customer communication and shop processes are followed at every level.
  • Customer Retention & Reviews: Conduct professional follow-ups with customers to ensure total satisfaction and actively generate 5-star Google reviews.
  • Deferred Service Outreach: Review past vehicle recommendations and place outbound phone calls to existing clients to help them book consistent, recurring service appointments.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Exceptional Organizational Skills: You love structure, have a sharp eye for detail, and notice when the small things are missing.
  • Process-Oriented Mindset: You are highly willing to learn, adapt to, and strictly follow our established shop workflows.
  • Great Communicator: You are confident, clear, and comfortable talking to customers both in person at the counter and over the phone.
  • Regional Travel & Flexibility: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between shop locations across the island (Nanaimo, Duncan, Colwood) as required.

Previous automotive shop experience, service advising, or a strong background in administrative quality auditing is a major asset, but we are fully prepared to train the right person with the right attitude.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive, Reliable Pay: A solid hourly wage of $23.00 to $26.00/hr based on what you bring to the table.
  • Skill Development: We will train you directly on our straightforward shop processes and systems. This is an excellent place to sharpen your skills, build your industry knowledge, and thrive.
  • A Path Forward for Hard Workers: In the automotive business, performance is everything. For the right candidate who brings a killer attitude, shows up every day, and proves what they are worth, there is genuine potential for long-term career growth within our regional shops.

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Dental care
  • Disability insurance
  • Extended health care
  • Life insurance
  • On-site parking
  • Paid time off
  • Store discount
  • Vision care
