We’re currently hiring at our facility in Surrey, BC!
Join our team as a Safety and Customs Clearance Administrator – a role where your attention to detail and commitment to compliance will make a real difference every day.

How you will make contributions that matter:

  • Monitor and maintain driver and fleet compliance with all federal and provincial safety regulations (NSC, CVOR, DOT, etc.)
  • Ensure all documentation related to safety, driver qualifications, vehicle maintenance, and incidents is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Coordinate customs clearance documentation for cross-border shipments to ensure smooth and compliant transit.
  • Communicate with customs brokers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve clearance issues proactively.
  • Assist in internal audits, accident reporting, claims handling, and follow-up on safety violations or infractions.
  • Support the onboarding process by verifying driver qualifications, conducting background checks, and ensuring required safety training is completed.
  • Maintain records and compile data for reporting purposes, including compliance tracking and KPI reports.
  • Stay current with changes to customs and safety regulations and ensure organizational adherence.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

This position is for you if you:

  • Have 2+ years of experience in a safety, compliance, or customs clearance role within the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Possess strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. customs procedures and transportation safety regulations.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills – verbal and written – with a high level of professionalism.
  • Are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Have solid problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Are experienced with Transportation Management Software and ELD systems – considered a strong asset.
  • Remain calm and focused in a high-pressure environment.
  • Bring a positive “Can Do” attitude to every task.
