Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Mechanic 310S to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repair, dealership service, and maintenance, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality workmanship. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. The position offers an engaging work environment where mechanical expertise and hands-on skills are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Interpret technical schematics and diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical systems
- Maintain accurate service records and document all repairs performed
- Assist with vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Support team members in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Engage with customers professionally to explain repair procedures and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Mechanic 310S certification required
- Proven dealership experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
- Experience with welding, schematics reading, assembly, and maintenance tasks
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose issues accurately using technical manuals and schematics
- Previous mechanic experience in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding setting
