Job Overview
Reach Systems Inc. is looking for a new Inventory and Supply Chain Specialist to join our team and play a key role in improving our inventory management, procurement, and supplier management. This position directly supports our engineering and production departments to ensure cost efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate procurement for all company projects, as delegated by the Project Manager and Production Supervisor
  • Optimize inventory by monitoring inventory turnover, warehouse capacity and surplus inventory
  • Identify opportunities for improvement across all levels of inventory and procurement
  • Determine product and project deficiencies for active sales orders and inventory requirements, and procure components accordingly
  • Send RFQs to suppliers and negotiate payment terms, pricing and delivery
  • Support Manufacturing and Project Management by kitting parts for assemblies and preparing/tracking documentation packages as established in the company's procedures.
  • Perform inventory maintenance activities, including cycle counts, min/max procurement, and new product additions
  • Assist with ERP implementation, maintenance and support
  • Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and the management team to implement continuous improvement across inventory and supply chain departments
  • Provide coverage for shipping, both domestically and internationally, including customs clearance and all related regulations

Skills

  • Knowledge of inventory and procurement processes, and purchasing best practices within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; good attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, MS Access, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience with Wrike or other cloud-based project management systems
  • Familiarity with electronic and mechanical components and related terminology

Experience / Other Competencies

  • 3+ years in procurement, inventory, supply chain, or contracts management
  • Exposure to international sourcing or complex supply chains is a benefit
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial projects preferred

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
