ACE Car Spa – General Manager

ACE Car Spa is seeking an experienced, high-energy, and business-minded General Manager (GM) to oversee our premium operations in Toronto across two luxury sites: The Shangri-La Hotel (Downtown) and 2Fifteen Luxury Rentals (Forest Hill).

As the GM, you will have full operational and financial accountability for both locations, leading a team of approximately 10 employees. You will balance hands-on team leadership and luxury client relations with back-end business management, driving profitability and maintaining our elite service standards. Modeled after our successful West Coast operations, this role offers a competitive base salary with an aggressive commission structure designed for an ambitious leader to reach a six-figure income.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Team Leadership

  • Multi-Site Management: Oversee daily operations, quality control, and brand standards at both the Shangri-La Hotel and 2Fifteen Luxury Rentals locations.
  • Staff Scheduling & Management: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a high-performing team of approximately 10 employees, ensuring optimal staffing levels across both sites.
  • Logistics & Safety: Safely drive and maneuver high-end, exotic, and luxury client vehicles between client sites and detailing locations. Maintain strict safety protocols.

Financial Management & Administration

  • P&L Responsibility: Monitor and manage profit and loss (P&L) statements, optimizing spending and strictly controlling operational costs.
  • Labor & Sales Tracking: Analyze labor-vs-sales metrics daily to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability.
  • Payroll & Compensation: Accurately calculate staff commissions, oversee tip payouts, and handle daily cash management/reconciliation.
  • Reporting: Meet daily with the ownership team to provide progress reports, financial updates, and operational insights.

Client Relations & Front-of-House

  • Client Concierge: Answer incoming calls via our VOIP system, manage bookings accurately within the Squareup system, and resolve client inquiries with utmost professionalism.
  • Relationship Building: Greet premium clientele, handle high-net-worth accounts, build immediate rapport, and maintain ACE Car Spa's luxury reputation.
  • Active Outreach: Proactively reach out to past and dormant clients to introduce yourself as the new GM, re-establishing relationships and driving repeat business.

Sales & Business Development

  • Revenue Growth: Drive the team to hit sales targets for premium detail packages, monthly subscription memberships, and specialized upgrades (tint, ceramic coating, PPF, rim repair).
  • Contract Acquisition: Actively seek out, negotiate, and secure new corporate contracts and fleet clients to expand the Toronto footprint.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of management experience in a premium hospitality, automotive, or luxury service environment. Proven experience managing a team of 10+ employees across multiple locations is highly preferred.
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence with a clean driver's abstract (handling high-value exotic vehicles is a core requirement).
  • Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of business financials, including P&L management, labor cost optimization, and commission structures.
  • Technical Aptitude: Proficiency with VOIP phone systems, Squareup POS/booking software, and basic financial reporting tools.
  • Attention to detail is critical for this role. Please include your favourite vehicle right next to your name at the very top of your resume
  • Communication & Presence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. High energy, sharp professional presentation, and the ability to command respect from both staff and elite corporate clients.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $50,000 per annum.
  • Commission & Bonuses: Strong performance-based commission structure with a realistic six-figure earning potential ($100k+) based on site revenue, membership growth, and contract acquisition.
  • Complimentary meals provided daily at the Downtown Toronto location.
  • Opportunities to work closely with the ownership team and shape the growth of a premium brand.
  • Management training and long-term career advancement opportunities.

Pay: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
