2. $45–$50/hour thereafter, based on performance

Industry: Manufacturing

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our office. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes full ownership of the books — from transaction entry through financial statement preparation — while also pitching in on light administrative and HR-related tasks as needed in our small-office environment.

This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who wants to make a direct impact, with performance-based bonus potential for those who bring process and automation improvements to the table.

Responsibilities

· Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable and the general ledger

· Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly, including multi-currency transactions

· Process invoices, payments, and deposits

· Manage payroll processing via ADP

· Prepare financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements)

· Track and categorize expenses accurately

· Assist with budget preparation and monitoring

· Prepare documentation for tax filings and liaise with external accountants/CPAs

· Maintain organized financial records in SharePoint

· Provide light administrative support as needed, which may include HR-related tasks

Required Qualifications

· Minimum 4 years of bookkeeping experience

· Proficiency with QuickBooks Online Advanced, including multi-currency functionality

· Mid-to-advanced level Excel skills (advanced preferred) — pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, etc

· Working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint

· Experience with ADP payroll systems (or others)

· Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, accrual vs. cash basis accounting)

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in the manufacturing sector is a major plus

· Bookkeeping certification (Certified Bookkeeper via AIPB or NACPB)

· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance a plus

· Multi-currency or international transaction experience beyond QBO basics

· Experience working directly with a CPA firm

· A track record of process improvement — performance-based bonuses available for successfully implementing automations (AI-driven or systems/workflow-based) that improve office efficiency

Ideal Candidate

· High attention to detail and accuracy

· Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

· Discretion and trustworthiness in handling sensitive financial and HR-related data

· Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small-office setting

· Strong communicator, able to explain financial information to non-finance staff

· Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Compensation & Schedule

· Full-time, on-site position

· Hourly pay: $40/hour for the first 90 days (training/probationary period)

· $45–$50/hour thereafter, based on performance review

· Additional performance-based bonus opportunities for automation/process improvements

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Casual dress
  • On-site parking

Work Location: In person
