Summary

Madsen Diesel & Turbine Inc. Inc is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team at our Mount Pearl office.

You will:

  • Report to the company's Controller and be responsible for processing all accounts payable and receivable functions using our accounting software program.
  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial record-keeping and data management.
  • Direct interaction with each of our sales and service departments to ensure purchasing and expenditures are in line with current company policies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Other finance and administrative duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Accounting Diploma or Diploma in Business Administration (with concentration in accounting) or a combination of relevant training and experience.
  • 3 – 5 years related experience in an accounting position.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and strong excel skills
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Strong organizational skills and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
