Full job description

We are seeking a highly organized individual with strong analytical skills, accuracy, and professionalism. Reporting directly to the Controller, this full-time role requires someone who excels at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and prides themselves on delivering exceptional internal customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts receivable & accounts payable support
  • Collection of outstanding payments
  • Payroll and benefits administration support
  • Inventory management support
  • Job costing support
  • Year-end T4 support
  • Invoicing support
  • Collaborating with management, office colleagues, and field crews
  • Additional administrative or accounting tasks as required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Post-secondary diploma in Accounting, Payroll, or related field is an asset
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Jobber is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
  • Experience with job costing in the construction, electrical, or trades industry is considered a strong asset
  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal
  • Ability to use sound judgement, problem-solve, and manage competing priorities
  • A collaborative team player who is reliable, organized, and accountable
  • Personal vehicle required (no public transit access to location)

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Start Date:
