ABOUT THE ROLE

The Account Manager/Business Development – LPI West is a planned role that will drive client acquisition and relationship management in LPI Group's Western Canadian market. As LPI West establishes and grows its regional presence, this individual will be the primary business development resource in the West — building a client network, generating new project and service opportunities, and promoting LPI Group's full range of mechanical contracting capabilities. Reporting to the VP, Business Development, this role will work in close partnership with the LPI West leadership team to grow a sustainable pipeline of Western Canadian work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of client relationships across the Western Canadian construction and facilities management sectors.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities for LPI West in plumbing, HVAC, mechanical construction, and service.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, capability presentations, and service packages for prospective and existing Western region clients.
  • Represent LPI Group at Western Canadian industry events, trade associations, and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Capital/Special Projects West to ensure all client commitments are fulfilled with excellence.
  • Maintain accurate and current records of pipeline activity, opportunities, and account development in the company's CRM.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and client feedback to the VP, Business Development and senior leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, account management, or sales within the Western Canadian construction or facilities services sector.
  • Established professional network among GCs, developers, and institutional property owners in Western Canada.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of mechanical contracting services including plumbing, HVAC, and related trades is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required for client visits and site tours.

This role requires a proactive approach to building client relationships and a passion for driving business growth. If you possess the necessary skills and experience, we invite you to contribute your expertise to our team’s success.
