We’re looking for a Client Account Manager with hands-on digital marketing agency experience and a strong understanding of paid ads to join our fully remote team.
At DOT & Co., we specialize in client account management for digital marketing agencies—helping agency owners retain clients, improve communication, and scale sustainably.
If you’ve worked inside an agency, understand how paid media campaigns perform, and enjoy being the bridge between clients and execution teams, this role is built for you.
This role requires hands-on experience in paid digital advertising (Meta, Google, etc.). Applications without this experience will not be considered.
About the Role:
As a Client Account Manager at DOT & Co., you’ll be the primary point of contact for our digital marketing agency clients, overseeing their client relationships and ensuring smooth, successful project execution. You’ll work closely with internal teams (ads specialists, project managers, etc.) to manage timelines, deliverables, and expectations. This is a remote, full-time role where you’ll have the freedom to work from wherever you choose and set your own hours.
What makes this role different? As a CAM with DOT & Co., you take on the challenge of operating fractionally in digital marketing agencies. What does that look like? You’ll essentially be supporting clients in two agencies at a time–usually two very different agencies, with different team structures, service offerings & industry niches as well. This role is a perfect fit for you if you get bored with everyday looking exactly the same, love talking to clients, are a total nerd about marketing–but you also love to stay organized, develop processes where you see gaps, and are open to learning and growing in your career.
What We’re Looking For:
- Required Experience: Minimum 2 years experience working in a digital marketing agency (client-facing role preferred)
- Marketing Expertise: You can speak confidently about digital advertising, analytics, and campaign performance. Your experience allows you to be a valuable advisor to clients.
- Project Management Skills: You’re organized, efficient, and love staying ahead of deadlines. Experience with managing clients, campaigns, and deadlines is essential.
- Strong Communicator: You build relationships effortlessly and excel in virtual environments. You’re comfortable having candid conversations with clients and internal teams.
- Self-Starter: You’re motivated to take ownership of your work and thrive with autonomy. You’re proactive and can juggle multiple priorities at once.
- Open to Learning & Growth: This role will require stepping into environments that may feel completely new to you–it’s important that our team has a growth mindset, and is willing to take on any challenge.
This role is not for you if…
- You don’t have direct experience in digital marketing or client account management.
- You struggle to work independently or meet deadlines.
- You’re shy or uncomfortable managing relationships virtually.
- You’re looking for a rigid 9-5 job in an office environment.
- You prefer to work independently. The role itself is quite autonomous, but it’s important that you love working with clients, and teams alike.
