Education and Programs Ambassadors
In-Person, based out of the Greater Toronto Area
Part-time, Contract (September 2026 - March 2027)
Opportunity Overview
The Responsible Gambling Council (RGC) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to problem gambling prevention. For more than 40 years, we have worked to reduce gambling risk by creating and delivering innovative awareness and information programs in Ontario and around the world. We work with priority populations, including youth, young adults, ethnocultural populations, and the public, to educate people on the risks of gambling, how to mitigate those risks, and how to access support. We work with industry, regulators and government to promote the adoption of improved play safeguards through best practices research, knowledge mobilization, standards development, and the RG Check accreditation program.
As an Education and Programs Ambassador, you will be the face of RGC's campus outreach programs. You will travel to colleges, universities, and community events across Ontario, facilitating interactive activations that encourage students—particularly student-athletes, sports fans, and the broader student population—to participate, think critically, and engage in conversations about confidence, uncertainty, prediction, decision-making, sports culture, and the growing role of sports betting and online gambling in young adults' lives.
Through engaging, sports-inspired experiences, you will help participants explore common misconceptions about confidence, knowledge, and control, while creating opportunities for meaningful conversations about gambling-related risks and informed decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable engaging the public, thrives in energetic environments, and enjoys creating positive, meaningful interactions.
Why RGC?
Join the Responsible Gambling Council and be part of a team that's making a real difference in communities across Canada and around the world. For over 40 years, we've been at the forefront of gambling harm prevention, combining evidence-based research with innovative programs that protect players and strengthen communities.
At RGC, you'll work alongside passionate professionals who are committed to our mission of ensuring gambling never comes at a human cost. We offer a collaborative environment where your contributions matter, your ideas are valued, and your professional growth is supported. Whether you're developing prevention campaigns, advancing responsible gambling standards, or connecting directly with communities, your work will have meaningful impact.
