Our FIT Coordinators work within our Tour Department. Duties will include liaising with our wholesale partners and incoming small groups to check the availability for all Banff Lodging Company properties, provide rates and contracts, confirm reservations, enter rooming lists, and follow up with invoicing and payments.

What you will be doing:
  • Respond to incoming phone calls, emails and manifests from wholesale partners and small groups.
  • Provide availability, rates, and contract details.
  • Provide expert knowledge regarding features of rooms, services of Banff Lodging Company hotels and restaurants.
  • Cross sell and upsell between hotels when possible
  • Data entry for inquiries, reservations, rooming lists, special requests and other data as required.
  • Counsel clients on terms and conditions of travel i.e. check-in time and cancellation policies.
  • Foster strong relationships with Front Office Managers and Front Desk Teams to ensure consistent and ongoing communication occurs, contributing to the delivery of the best possible guest experiences at our hotel properties.
  • Create accurate invoices, collect and process prepayments.
  • Work safely. Obey all health and safety policies and procedures and report injuries and hazards immediately.
  • Occasionally meet customers for familiarization tours (FAM Tours) of the hotels/restaurants
Skills & Experience:
  • Experience working with wholesale partners and/or group reservations is an asset.
  • Exceptional telephone manner and a willingness to work with a positive team player attitude.
  • Self-motivator with outgoing personality and commitment to providing a high level of guest service.
  • Must have strong keyboard skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Experience using a hospitality property management system is an asset.
  • A positive team player attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
