Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electric Motor Winder to join our manufacturing team. This role involves the precise winding and assembly of electric motors, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with experience working with schematics, hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and technical expertise are essential for success.

Requirements

  • Herma Motor Services, Inc. is a leader in the Industrial Motor Repair industry, located in Richmond Hill, Ontario. We are currently looking for AC Electric Motor Winders to maintain the high quality standards of our work.

Responsibilities and Duties

As an AC Electric Motor Winder, you will:

· Prep coils

· Obtain winding data

· Stator core loss testing

· Cut and burn stators

· Wind motors from 5 hp to 2000 hp and 220 volts to 4160 volts

· Operate burn off and bake ovens

· Uphold the high quality standards of Herma Motor Services

· Above all else, be safety conscious

Qualifications and Skills

· Must be skilled in winding AC Electric motor stators, both random and form coil

· Highly motivated self performer with good organizational skills and attention to detail

· Significant mechanical knowledge and/or experience

· Ability to work well in a team environment

· Be safety conscious

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
