Apprentice Plumber/Labourer

Summary

As a Apprentice Plumber/Labourer at Neumann Plumbing, you’ll work alongside

experienced journeyman plumbers to learn the trade and support daily plumbing

operations. This role involves assisting with installations, repairs, and maintenance on

residential, commercial, and industrial projects. It’s an excellent opportunity to build

hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and grow within a respected, safety-

focused company that values teamwork and professional development.

What You’ll Do

 Assist journeyman plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of

plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

 Carry, load, and unload tools, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently.

 Prepare and clean up work areas, including demolition, material handling, and

site organization.

 Maintain cleanliness and organization of service vehicles, tools, and shop areas.

 Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including use of PPE and

safe work practices.

 Participate in on-the-job training and development to build plumbing trade skills.

 Represent Neumann Plumbing in a professional manner when interacting with

customers and team members.

What You’ll Need

 Registered or willing to register as a Plumber Apprentice with Alberta

Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) preferred.

 Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

 Ability to obtain and maintain a clear criminal record check.

 Physically capable of performing work that includes lifting up to 50 lbs, standing

for long periods, and working in confined spaces.

 Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.

 Safety-focused and able to follow direction in a team environment.
