About us

Board 'n' Barrel is a small business in Peace River, AB T8S 1H7. We are professional, agile and our goal is to We are a fast paced, foodie, destination, hotspot, looking for staff that enjoy coming to work, and are prepared to have a good time. .

We recently Opened a second restaurant What The Chuck and are looking for cooks there as well

Duties:

- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure all ingredients are properly measured and ready for use
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify management when items need to be restocked
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils

Skills:

- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or similar setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong cooking skills with the ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
