Exciting Opportunity for Experienced AS400 Developer – Join a Dynamic Team in a Critical Role that is 100% remote.

*This is a 6 month contract to start with possibility of extension*

Are you a seasoned IBMi (AS400) developer passionate about delivering high-quality technical solutions in a collaborative, agile environment? Our global client is seeking a skilled AS400 Developer to support their Business-As-Usual operations, perform system enhancements, and contribute to impactful projects in the Merchandising and Supply Chain domains. This is your chance to leverage your expertise in a fast-paced setting, working alongside talented analysts and product owners to drive efficiency and innovation.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of IBMi development experience, including RPG, CL, DB2, ILE, and SQL
  • Proven ability to read, analyze, and modify RPG code with confidence
  • Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with Business Analysts and Product Owners
  • Experience supporting operational environments with ongoing enhancements, system updates, and integrations
  • Familiarity with APIs, stored procedures, and high-volume system processing
  • Hands-on experience with modern development tools such as ROBOT, ServiceNow, Aldon, Jira/Confluence, and Microsoft 365
  • Experience working in Scrum or Agile teams, including sprint planning and stand-ups
  • Knowledge of B2B and EDI document processing
  • Understanding of financial processes, cost management, and pricing structures
  • Prior experience in the food services or supply chain industry is advantageous
Education:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
Other Requirements:
