Are you an entrepreneurial foodie looking for a fun and mobile way to serve and share love in your community?

Our ‘Taste of Heaven’ food truck operates at special events, job sites, community gatherings and church parties throughout the Lower Mainland, serving our signature, gourmet sausage-in-a-bun.

WHO WE ARE

NightShift Street Ministries is a Christian faith-based, registered charity dedicated to helping people struggling on the street with poverty, homelessness, addictions, mental illness and social disconnection. We are committed to loving unconditionally and helping each other find hope and purpose while respecting NightShift values of integrity, humility, perseverance and unity.

Our small but mighty team benefits from flexible work arrangements, generous time off, support for professional development and an extensive, fully employer-paid benefits plan.

WHO WE NEED

The role you’re applying for is to lead our professional Taste of Heaven (TOH) food truck with a passionate commitment to raising funds and awareness for NightShift Street Ministries.

The TOH Coordinator is a real “people person”, who loves teamwork. You are a go-getter, who is motivated by knowing your work is positively impacting our communities. And you’re as comfortable in the kitchen as you are out and about. If you think this fits in your wheelhouse, we can’t wait to meet you!

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, well organized and resourceful.
  • Flexibility in hours worked, including evening and weekend hours, especially during food truck high season.
  • FoodSafe BC Level 1.
  • A clean, Class 5 driver’s licence and willingness to drive a food truck.
  • The ability to lift, carry and load food packages and other donations in our warehouse.
  • Willingness to support vulnerable people as part of the NightShift mission.

We thank all applicants for their interest in this position. Only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
