MUST HAVE STONE FABRICATION EXPERIENCE

About Us:

Rock Solid Countertops is a well-established stone fabrication shop specializing in high-quality stone products for residential and commercial projects. We are committed to delivering excellence in craftsmanship, precision, and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Afternoon Shift Team Lead to oversee our team of skilled fabricators and help drive efficiency on the production floor.

Position Overview:
As the Team Lead on the afternoon shift, you will manage a small crew of 4 fabricators, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, meeting deadlines, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. This is a hands-on leadership role, and you will actively participate in the fabrication process while overseeing your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of 4 stone fabricators on the afternoon shift.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with management, ensuring team goals align with production needs.
  • Manage the daily workflow and ensure that production targets and quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise on the shop floor and provide effective solutions.
  • Actively participate in the fabrication process, including cutting, shaping, polishing, and finishing stone products.
  • Enforce safety guidelines and ensure the proper use of equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Train and develop team members to improve skill sets and overall efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as necessary to maintain uninterrupted production.
  • Report on progress, challenges, and potential improvements to upper management.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a stone fabrication or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven leadership experience in a production or shop environment.
  • Strong knowledge of stone fabrication processes, equipment, and tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
  • Ability to lead by example, providing hands-on support to the team when needed.
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy materials and stand for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
