Position: General Manager

Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year (plus bonus) Based Upon Prior Experience and Job Performance

Big Time Entertainment is a leader in Windsor Essex as the place to visit providing entertainment, action and culinary offerings second to none. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee our vibrant and exciting venue, combining exceptional food and bar service, engaging entertainment consisting of a full arcade, bowling lanes, lasertag stadium, indoor go-kart track, and outstanding customer experiences.

About the Role: As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our facility, ensuring high standards across food and beverage service, full adhereance to standard operating procedures and licensing regulations and compliance, as well as customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, and superior customer service.
  • Recruit, train, and schedule a high-performing team, adhering to labor percentage targets and optimizing scheduling for efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and financial procedures.
  • Oversee cash handling, financial reporting, and inventory management.
  • Oversee kitchen operations to ensure cost effective operation while maintaining exceptional standards.
  • Utilize POS systems for order processing and sales tracking.
  • Address customer feedback and resolve issues to ensure top-notch service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance profitability, including analyzing financial reports and action plans.
  • Set and monitor sales goals, ensuring the management team meets departmental targets.
  • Execute marketing strategies to capitalize on business opportunities and drive sales.
  • Manage all aspects of operations, ensuring adherence to Big Time Entertainment’s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Responsible for scheduling, payroll, and efficient operational execution while adhering to target labor percentages.

Requirements:

  • Proven management experience in hospitality, particularly in food and beverage industry, entertainment venues or the gaming industry.
  • Expertise in kitchen management and industry trends.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of over 40 effectively.
  • Proficiency in inventory control, cost management, and POS systems.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS. This is not a Monday-Friday role.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Clear criminal background check.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)

Experience:

  • Administrative: 1 year (required)
  • Management: 5 years (required)

Language:

Certification:

  • Valid Driving License (required)
