Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-Time (Day Shift Only)


About Us

McEwan TD is a premium grocery store and café located in the heart of downtown Toronto, within The PATH at 66 Wellington Street West. We offer gourmet groceries, freshly prepared foods, and a hot food counter serving buffet-style breakfast and lunch.


Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Store Associate to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar café or grocery environment in downtown Toronto and be comfortable performing a variety of tasks across our operation.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate espresso and coffee machines; prepare and serve customized drinks and coffees
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times
  • Operate the POS system and handle cash/credit transactions accurately
  • Assist with grocery stocking, merchandising, and general store upkeep
  • Support the hot food counter team during breakfast and lunch service
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (café, grocery, or food retail) in downtown Toronto
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday (no night shifts)
  • Barista or coffee-making experience required
  • Cash-handling and POS experience preferred
