Role Impact:

Under the direction of the Operations Manager and Chief Engineer, responsible for Maintenance, responds to maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, lighting of the Pacific Centre, that includes all maintenance related issues


What you will deliver:

  • Performs tasks outlined by the work orders generated by the Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance Program or responds to service requests in a professional workmanlike and timely manner.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in a timely manner in conjunction with work orders assigned by the Service Centre. and Central Management.
  • Reports all deficiencies to equipment to the Service Center, or Centre management. In the event equipment is considered to be essential, will affect or direct immediate repairs as required.
  • Participates in all training activities planned by the Centre Management and assists as required in the set-up of each session.
  • Take appropriate upgrade courses to remain current on all new equipment and to keep abreast of changes in technology relating to Pacific Centre.
  • Assist maintenance personnel in the safe and proper operation of equipment as required or as directed by Centre Management.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by Centre Management.

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum grade 12 education.
  • Must have working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, and maintain safe working practices and demonstrate them to co-workers and contractors.
  • BOMA Diploma as a Systems Maintenance Technician or 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate of Competency an asset.
