Full job description
Graphic Designer / Production Artist
Lightheaded Lighting — Port Coquitlam, BC
Lightheaded makes architectural lighting for designers, architects, and people
who care deeply about how spaces feel.
Weʼre looking for a Graphic Designer / Production Artist to help make our brand,
sales materials, product documents, presentations, and marketing pieces look
just as sharp as our lighting.
This is a hands-on design job for someone who enjoys clean layouts, attention to
detail, strong typography, organized files, and the satisfaction of making complex
information easy to understand.
What youʼll do
Youʼll help create and maintain the visual materials our sales team, reps,
customers, and partners use every day, including:
- Product sheets, brochures, catalogs, and presentation decks
- Sales and training materials
- Digital graphics for email, web, and social media
- Print-ready artwork and production files
- Product renderings, mockups, and visual assets
- Updates to our image, video, and collateral libraries
Youʼll work with our team to turn ideas, direction, and technical details into clear,
polished, on-brand materials.
What weʼre looking for
Youʼre a designer who cares about the details.
You know how to make things look good and work well. You understand hierarchy,
spacing, typography, consistency, and production accuracy. You take direction
well and can work quickly without sacrificing quality. You also know the difference
between creative and confusing.
Youʼll probably be a good fit if you have
- 3+ years of graphic design or production art experience
- Strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills, especially in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Experience preparing files for print and digital use
- A good eye for layout, typography, and brand consistency
- Comfort working with technical or product information
- Strong organizational skills
- You can manage multiple projects without losing your mind or your files.
Bonus points if you have experience with motion graphics, 3D, CAD, Blender, web
graphics, or architectural/product marketing. But weʼd rather hire someone
excellent at the core job than someone who is supposedly “pretty good” at
everything.
Why work here?
Because youʼll get to do meaningful design work for a company that actually
cares about design.
Lightheaded is a locally owned, growing Vancouver-area lighting manufacturer
with customers across North America. Weʼre serious about our products, proud of
our people, and allergic to boring.
This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday role based in Port Coquitlam, with
competitive compensation and benefits based on experience.
