Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
  • Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature, quality, and presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Assist with menu planning by providing input on grilling techniques and ingredient selection
  • Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
  • Support meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, preferably with grill-focused roles
  • Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques specific to grilling
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating attention to nutritional guidelines
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Prior experience with menu planning, catering, or fine dining environments is advantageous
