Full-Time Line Cook – Indian Street Food

Location: 208 Queens Quay West, Unit 7, Toronto, ON
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour (CAD)
Schedule: Full-time, approximately 35–40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as required
Work Location: In person

CSK – Indian Street Food is hiring a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Line Cook to join our team in downtown Toronto.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual who can handle a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook Indian street food items according to restaurant recipes and standards.
  • Handle daily food preparation, cooking, plating, and packaging.
  • Manage dine-in, takeout, and online delivery orders efficiently.
  • Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes, and presentation.
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
  • Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and properly stocked.
  • Assist with inventory, preparation, and closing duties.
  • Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy service hours.

Qualifications

  • Previous line cook or commercial kitchen experience preferred.
  • Experience preparing Indian food, chaat, or Indian street food is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
  • Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
