Full job description

We are an authentic Japanese restaurant with a modern twist, proudly operating from the same location for 24 years and counting. We are a small but exceptionally strong team that values hard work, transparency, and teamwork.

Position Requirements & Skill Set

Applicants should possess the following:

  • Valid Smart Serve certification
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine, including fish, sake, and hot dishes
  • Familiarity with Uber Eats and SkipTheDishes platforms
  • Ability to greet and seat guests professionally
  • Assist guests with menu selections
  • Strong teamwork skills, sense of urgency, and responsible attitude
  • Ability to stand for the duration of shifts
  • Ability to answer phone calls and take customer orders
  • Willingness to learn and effectively use our in-house POS system
  • Ability to pack take-out and delivery orders accurately
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Korean language skills are an asset but not mandatory
  • Must be available to work all holidays (no exceptions)
