CONSTANTINE
We are located on the ground floor of the beautiful Anndore House Hotel at 15 Charles St. East, just a couple blocks south of Yonge and Bloor. We have a large and dynamic space with two patios, a gorgeous open kitchen, private event space, and sleek lounge.

We are looking for a server to join the team!

Ideal candidates take extreme pride in their enthusiasm for hospitality, exhibit grace under pressure, have a never ending desire to learn, and above all, must deeply love all things food, wine, and spirit. Experienced front of house staff preferred but we are happy and willing to train candidates with the right potential and attitude.

Duties:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system and communicate them to the kitchen/bar staff.
  • Guide guests through the menu, offering suggestions and answering questions about dishes, wines, and other beverages.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, adhering to proper service standards.
  • Upsell menu items, including specials and premium selections, to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and the dining room throughout the shift.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with setting up and clearing tables, ensuring all areas are properly prepared for service.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
  • Follow health and safety protocols and maintain a high standard of hygiene at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Previous serving experience in casual fine dining or upscale restaurants is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide attentive and personable service.
  • Knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails with the ability to confidently make recommendations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain) is required.
