Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services that enhance pets' health and appearance of pets. This role involves working closely with pet owners to deliver personalized grooming experiences in a friendly and professional environment. Candidates should be comfortable handling various breeds and sizes of animals, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process.

Responsibilities

  • Bathing, drying, and brushing pets to prepare them for grooming
  • Trimming and styling fur according to breed standards or customer preferences
  • Cleaning ears, trimming nails, and maintaining overall pet hygiene
  • Handling pets gently and securely to ensure their safety during grooming procedures
  • Communicating with pet owners about grooming needs, special instructions, or health concerns
  • Maintaining a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitizing tools and work areas
  • Managing appointment schedules efficiently to provide timely service
  • Providing excellent customer service by addressing client questions and feedback professionally

Experience

  • At least 2 years of prior experience in pet grooming; Certified pet professional groomer preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals
  • Compassionate attitude towards animals with patience and gentle handling skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Well-organized with good time management skills
