Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.
Wage is inclusive of tips.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
  • Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and meal preparation techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • A passion for cooking and providing exceptional food service.
