YOUR ROLE

In this role, you will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, other supply chain staff, and staff from the Sales and Production departments to action all activities related to the supply chain department while following company policies and procedures. As a key member of the operations team, you’ll be joining a growing team that offers clean technologies solutions for our communities and our world.

  • Participate in all activities related to the Supply Chain Department while following company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for all stages of the procurement process for both domestic and international vendors.
  • Responsible for ensuring an efficient and reliable supply of materials as well as inventory management process, including second source strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments including Sales and Production to ensure a supply that matches demand.
  • Use ERP/MRP systems, spreadsheets, and other tools to manage inventory and create analytical reports for upper management and make sound purchasing decisions.
  • Schedule and conduct vendor and departmental meetings as necessary.
  • Establish metrics for vendor performance and selection.
  • Maintain high quality of customer service and relationship.
  • Ensure product standards to meet quality requirements.
  • Manage vendor performance.
  • Manage company logistics for inbound and outbound freight and the related Freight vendors.

Experience

  • 5+ years related experience in Supply Chain Departments
  • Experience working with Freight Vendors
  • Experience with international procurement and logistics
  • Create and analyze data in the form of KPI’s
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
