Established in 2012, Hisense Canada’s product strategy is to steadily introduce a full range of electronics and appliances into the Canadian market. This includes a complete line of consumer electronics, home appliances, home comfort products.

At Hisense Canada, we take pride in our staff - they are the backbone of all that we do - and as we grow, we are looking for talented additions to our team.

For our continuously growing business, we are currently looking for a 6-Month Contractual Field Marketing Representative to be based in ON, with a focus on the Mississauga/Etobicoke area.

Key functions and responsibilities:

  • Win the hearts and minds of the sales staff of our retail partners to increase the recommendation rate and sales of Hisense
  • Manage day-to-day client liaison activities at the retail level.
  • Foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with retailers, store management, and sales teams.
  • Act as the primary field contact and support dealers through consistent communication and engagement.
  • Conduct pre-scheduled weekly training sessions, launch meetings, and product introduction sessions at retail locations.
  • Train and coach retailer staff on product features, competitive advantages, and effective selling strategies.
  • Deliver "sales assists" and direct customer interaction support during peak retail traffic periods to help drive volume.
  • Execute visual merchandising standards, ensuring proper product placement and overall brand integrity.
  • Set up eye-catching promotional materials, POP/POS signage, and displays.
  • Assist with retailer incentive programs, promotional events, trade shows, and training seminars.
  • Analyze and compare competitive products vs comparable Hisense products
  • Develop creative demos and ways to demonstrate Hisense product’s features and benefits
  • Collect market intelligence - new competitive product launches, pricing, promotions, and marketing efforts and inform all team members
  • Ensure retail price points are accurate or updated prior to leaving the retail location.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a minimum of 5 store visits per day (Channel partners with both HA and CE units will count as 2 separate visits)
  • Inform store sales staff and management on the features, advantages, and benefits of the Hisense product lines
  • Build confidence on the Hisense brand by establishing relationships with our channel partner’s staff in store level
  • Immediately report on any urgent issues that effects the business (low/no inventory levels, damaged displaces, poor customer experience, aggressive competitive pricing, etc.)

Weekly Responsibilities:

  • Report on weekly highlights and lowlights encountered while in field

Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a minimum of 2 out of hour store training sessions (depending on season)
  • Report on Highlights and Lowlights of each channel partner
  • Plan out their scheduled route for the next up coming month
  • Take a product knowledge quiz to ensure they are communicating the correct information to the store sales representative
  • Report on activities of the competition to give Hisense a competitive advantage in the marketplace

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of retail sales
  • 1+ years of retail training
  • Self motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Access to vehicle and a valid driver’s license
  • Home appliance or consumer electronic experience preferred
  • French fluency required for Quebec province
