Are you an experienced Industrial Millwright seeking a dynamic opportunity? We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team in Thompson, MB. This is an exciting chance to work in a challenging and rewarding environment while enjoying travel and LOA benefits.

Position Overview:

As an Industrial Millwright, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical systems and equipment in our industrial facilities. You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, inspection, and repairs of a wide range of machinery, contributing to the efficiency and safety of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, dismantle, assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical and process equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders to execute tasks accurately.
  • Perform precision alignment and adjustments of machinery and components.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Industrial Mechanic/Millwright certification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in industrial or heavy-duty environments, preferably in mining or manufacturing.

  • Familiarity with workplace safety standards and procedures.
  • Willingness to work 10-hour shifts and travel to Thompson, MB.

Experience

  • Previous experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings is essential.
  • Experience with Hoists, Jaw crushers and dewatering systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex mechanical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
