Full job description

Island Construction & Environmental, a design/build contractor located in Mount Pearl, NL, is seeking carpenters and skilled labourers with experience in commercial construction.

Experience with the following tasks is required:

-Wood Framing/Sheathing

-Concrete Forming

-Steel Stud Framing

-Installation of Steel Doors/Frames

-Drywall Installation

-T-Bar Ceiling Installation

-Plastering/Painting

Familiarity with reading blue prints as well experience in building maintenance would be considered an asset.

Some travel will be required as our work is located throughout Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. Travel, lodgings and a meal allowance will be provided.

Benefits include a company vehicle and access to a group insurance and RRSP plan after a three-month probationary period.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
