Legal Assistant-$65K-$75K

LEGAL ASSISTANT

  • Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage and conduct new client calls and intakes and prepare Contingency Fee Agreements.
  • Draft and prepare correspondence.
  • Process production requests.
  • Manage undertakings.
  • Coordinate and schedule Examinations for Discovery and Mediations.
  • Respond to client inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Organize and maintain client files to meet deadlines and ensure efficient case processing.
  • Handle incoming mail and emails while managing the daily calendar.
  • Perform other general administrative duties as needed.
  • Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of personal injury experience
  • Successful completion of a Legal Assistant program
  • TimeMatters/Primafact/ACL experience is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Responsive and proactive with ability to work both independently and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
