Full job description

Licensed Automotive Service Technician

Longlac, ON

Minodahmun Development LP and OK Tire’s Greenstone Services is looking for a licensed service technician to join their team. This position is an on-site position at the Equinox Gold Greenstone Mine. The mechanic will be responsible for maintenance and repairs on light passenger vehicles, troubleshooting and diagnosing defects, and offer top-quality performance in a safe and professional manner. Rotation work 7/7.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for diagnosing the source of any malfunctions and performing required repairs.
  • Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service is required.
  • Perform brake, safety, and PM inspections.
  • Perform road tests and safety inspections.
  • Keep equipment and tools properly maintained
  • Maintain standards of Health and Safety and cleanliness
  • Document work performed accurately and according to company policy
  • Review and complete work orders.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Any other related tasks and duties.

Education and Qualifications

  • 310S Automotive Service Technician License
  • 1 year of licensed experience, minimum
  • Ability to work as an effective team member
  • Job can be physically demanding, must be physically fit
  • Valid G license is a requirement, DZ would be an asset
