6 month contract - remote Our client is seeking a D365 Finance & Operations Developer to design and develop solutions supporting both business and technical integration requirements within a cloud-based Dynamics 365 F&O environment.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on D365 F&O development experience, along with a solid understanding of Microsoft technologies, integrations, APIs and Azure services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop enhancements, extensions, defect corrections and integrations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
  • Design and develop solutions across D365 F&O and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Identify technical and design challenges and develop effective, scalable solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical and non-functional requirements.
  • Design and customize D365 F&O and related applications, including customer-facing portals and supporting solutions.
  • Develop and support integrations between D365 F&O and peripheral applications and platforms.
  • Support data migration, system interfacing and API integration initiatives.
  • Work with Azure services and Microsoft technologies to develop cloud-based solutions.
  • Take a user-centered approach to solution design and development, with an emphasis on rapid iteration and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams and other project participants throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to end-to-end D365 implementations, enhancements and integration initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) experience.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience designing and customizing D365 F&O.
  • Hands-on experience with X++.
  • Experience with .NET, SQL Server, HTML and JavaScript.
  • Experience developing and integrating APIs and web services.
  • Experience with D365 F&O interfacing, integration and data migration.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience with Azure and related integration services.
  • Understanding of secure application development practices.
  • Experience working with Sage and Star applications is an asset.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, including development, implementation and integration within an enterprise D365 F&O environment.
  • Strong knowledge of D365 F&O functionality and the underlying technology stack.
  • Experience with end-to-end D365 module implementations is preferred.
  • D365 F&O certifications are considered an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative technical team.
