Full job description

Brandt Corporate Services is seeking a self-motivated and disciplined Junior Copywriter to join our team in Regina, SK. This position is responsible for developing creative copy and content that connects with audiences across all marketing channels.

Who We Are

Brandt is a customer driven company, privately owned and family run, strengthened by diversification and succeeding through specialization. We operate over 170 locations across Canada, the USA, Australia, and New Zealand.

For nine decades, the people of Brandt have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the hardworking people that we serve. And really, there’s no place we’d rather be because just like them, it’s when we’re working hard and getting things done that we’re at our best.

Our success is driven by a passionate belief in the unlimited potential of our company and the ultimate success of our customers and we act on that belief every single day.

That’s Powerful Value, Delivered.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Support the marketing team and subject matter experts through brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas and helping develop content strategies across a range of topics for online platforms
  • Assist with stakeholder interviews to gather insights and help shape them into compelling content
  • Write copy for campaigns targeting internal and external audiences across channels including social media, email marketing, online display ads, website content, teaser videos, blog posts, e-newsletters, and more
  • Produce, maintain, and proofread marketing content for multiple applications under the guidance of senior team members
  • Follow the company style guide and editorial standards to consistently reinforce brand voice
  • Other copywriting as required

What We Look For

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent certification in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field — coursework in marketing principles, advertising, creative writing, editorial writing, media studies, or editing is an asset
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience producing digital or marketing content (internships, co-ops, freelance, or entry-level roles all considered)
  • A portfolio or writing samples that demonstrate clear, concise writing and a genuine feel for language
  • Self-motivated and disciplined — someone who takes ownership of their work, meets deadlines without needing to be micromanaged, and holds themselves to a high standard
  • A fast learner who actively seeks feedback, absorbs new information quickly, and applies it with minimal repetition
  • Comfortable collaborating with multiple team members in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong listening and research skills; able to take direction and turn it into quality output
  • Good time management habits with the ability to balance competing priorities
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation: we offer fair, market-based wages that recognize your skills, experience, and contributions.
  • Continuous Learning: through on-the-job training and educational opportunities.
  • Opportunities for advancement within a growing company that values initiative and teamwork.
  • Comprehensive benefits coverage: including health, dental and more to support your wellbeing.
  • Retirement savings programs: Pension and RRSP programs to help you invest in your future

When you work for Brandt, we work for you. It’s as simple as that.
