Front Desk & Pretesting Optometric Assistant Airdrie Eyecare Centre — Airdrie, AB

Airdrie Eyecare Centre is seeking a Front Desk and Pretesting Optometric Assistant to join our practice. This position combines administrative front desk responsibilities with clinical pretesting support, and is well-suited to a candidate who is professional, personable, and committed to delivering excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and perform front desk operations, including scheduling and appointment coordination
  • Conduct pretesting procedures in preparation for eye examinations
  • Provide a positive and professional experience for every patient who visits our office

Qualifications

  • Experience in optometry or a related healthcare field is an asset, but not required; comprehensive training will be provided for entry-level candidates
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must have reliable, independent transportation to and from work
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Mature, dependable, and punctual
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative team player
  • Flexible availability

Schedule Hours vary depending on business needs; please refer to our website for potential shift times. Saturday availability is required of all staff.

Compensation Commensurate with experience. This is an entry-level position for candidates without prior experience.
