Full job description

Winmar is expanding and looking for an energetic and self-motivated general carpenter to join our team. This position is full-time and offers a strong compensation package based on experience and expertise. We are looking for a well-rounded individual with at least 5 years experience.

  • Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques
  • Proficient in the use of power and manual tools as well as measurement devices (powered saws, hammers, laser levels).
  • Can complete work with a high level of accuracy and efficiently.
  • Uses logic and reason to identify solutions.
  • Is able to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
  • Accurately measurements and calculates the size and amount of material needed.
  • Cuts, shapes and finishes lumber and other materials according to measurements.
  • Must work well in team environment and be flexible to changing requirements.
  • Must have a good work ethic
  • Manages time efficiently and work independently
  • Posses’ and maintains a clean drivers’ license
  • Clean criminal records check

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
