About the Role

This individual is required to work well within a dynamic team environment, be a self-motivated learner. This person will be responsible to help manage and maintain Future Electronics Microsoft Technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and continuously improve the WSUS environment for Microsoft patch deployment and compliance.
  • Administer and support the Windows Server environment, including:

File Servers

Print Servers

DHCP and DNS Servers

Active Directory (AD) servers, user accounts, and security groups

Various application servers, including IIS and Web Applications

  • Assist in managing the organization’s Citrix environment.
  • Support and administer the Microsoft 365 environment, including:

Azure AD / Entra ID

Microsoft 365 applications

  • Participate in the on-call pager rotation.
  • Resolve Level 2 support tickets escalated from the Help Desk team.
  • Support and maintain additional enterprise technologies, including:
  • VMware infrastructure
  • Exchange (on-premises environment)

Experience:

  • 2–3 years of experience in Windows-based network and systems administration.
  • 2–3 years of experience in desktop support, system setup, and deployment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Active Directory administration.
  • Strong networking knowledge, including:

DNS

WINS

DHCP

  • Experience with scripting languages such as VBScript or PowerShell is considered an asset.
  • Experience working in virtualized environments (VMware) is an asset.
  • Microsoft and/or VMware technical certifications are considered an asset.
