Position: Inspecteur(trice) à la source mécanique
Location : Laval, Canada
Durée : 90 jours avec possible extension
En tant qu'inspecteur(trice) à la source, vous agirez en tant que représentant du client de Verity et serez responsable d’assurer la conformité des produits lors des inspections en cours de fabrication et finales. Vous recevrez une formation sur les processus et les exigences du client pour vous permettre de vous assurer que ceux-ci sont respectés. Vous devrez rédiger les rapports et communiquer à toutes les parties prenantes les problèmes, les non-conformités, etc.
Description du poste:
- Effectuer des inspections sur site, dans une ou plusieurs installations de fournisseurs, incluant la vérification documentaire ainsi que les inspections visuelles et dimensionnelles de pièces fabriquées, d'assemblages et/ou de sous-assemblages.
- Vérifier que les produits et la documentation sont conformes aux dessins techniques, aux bons de commande, aux normes de l'industrie et aux spécifications applicables.
- Examiner les certificats de conformité des matériaux, des fournisseurs externes et des autres prestataires de services afin de s'assurer qu'ils répondent aux exigences des bons de commande et aux spécifications du client.
- Réaliser une grande variété d'opérations d'inspection conventionnelles à l'aide de différentes techniques et méthodes d'inspection.
- Produire des rapports dans les systèmes informatiques du client et de Verity, signaler toute non-conformité et recommander les mesures appropriées (rejet ou retouche). Le candidat doit être disposé à utiliser son ordinateur portable personnel pour compléter les dossiers d'inspection dans la plateforme SAP ainsi que dans la plateforme de rapports de Verity.
Expérience requise :
Le candidat doit posséder au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans les domaines suivants :
- Inspection de pièces à tolérances serrées.
- Inspection d'assemblages complexes et de grandes pièces usinées sur machines de tournage-fraisage (Mill-Turn).
- Procédés spéciaux.
- Soudage (une certification n'est pas obligatoire, mais constitue un atout).
- Réalisation d'inspections de premier article (FAI – First Article Inspection) conformément à la norme AS9102, ainsi qu'une bonne connaissance de cette norme, incluant l'examen complet du dossier technique afin d'assurer la traçabilité complète des documents.
- Utilisation d'instruments de mesure tels que les micromètres et les pieds à coulisse.
Exigences
- Excellentes aptitudes en communication afin de signaler clairement les non-conformités, tant à l'interne qu'à l'externe.
- Bonne maîtrise de l'informatique et 'utiliser un ordinateur portable personnel pour effectuer les rapports d'inspection dans les plateformes SAP et SPP (Supplier Performance Platform).
- Disposition à utiliser un téléphone cellulaire personnel.
- Aucune aide à la relocalisation n'est offerte.
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement manufacturier dynamique et à porter tout l'équipement de protection individuelle (ÉPI) exigé par les règles de sécurité des fournisseurs.
- Capacité à rester debout, assis, à s'agenouiller et à se déplacer selon les besoins.
- Capacité à soulever des charges d'au moins 30 lb (environ 14 kg).
- Posséder un certificat du programme des marchandises contrôlées est considéré comme un atout.

As the Mechanical Source Inspector, you act on behalf of Verity’s customer and will be response to ensure compliance of product during in process and final inspections. As the dedicated inspector you will be trained on customer processes and requirements to ensure all standards/specifications are followed while supporting reporting and communication to all stakeholders on issues/non-conformances...etc.
Job Description:
- The quality inspector shall support on-site at single or multiple supplier facilities to perform documentation, visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies.
- Validate all product and paperwork compliant to including but not limited to engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), industry standards, and specifications.
- Inspect Certificates of Conformance from material, external suppliers, and other service providers to ensure these items conform to customers purchase order requirements and specifications
- Perform a wide variety of conventional/traditional inspection operations utilizing various inspection techniques
- Report via operating systems for Customer and Verify while communicating any non-conformance while providing reject or rework disposition. Must be willing to utilize personal laptop to complete customer inspection records within SAP platform and Verity’s reporting platform.
Candidate must possess at least 5 years’ experience with:
- Inspection of tight tolerances
- Complex assemblies, Large Mill Turn Parts
- Special Processes
- Welding (certification is not required, but preferred)
- Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance to the AS9102 standard and knowledge is required, including complete review of technical data package for full traceability of documents.
- Experience using various inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Requirements:
- Possess soft skills to clearly communicate non-conformances internally and externally
- Candidate should be computer savvy and MUST be willing to use personal laptop to complete inspection reporting via SAP platform and SPP (Supplier Performance Platform)
- Must be willing to utilize personal cell phone
- No relocation offers available.
- Must be willing to work in fast paced manufacturing environment and possess all PPE required per suppliers safety requirements.
- Must be able to stand, sit, kneel, maneuver
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
