Position Summary

As a Warehouse Associate – Shipping & Distribution, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of our distribution centre. You will help ensure inventory is received accurately, customer orders are picked and packed with care, and shipments leave our warehouse on time. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Receive, inspect, and put away incoming inventory.
  • Load and unload trailers and containers safely.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (training and certification provided if required).
  • Use handheld RF scanners and our warehouse management system to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory organization.
  • Prepare shipments for domestic and international carriers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with other warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, distribution, or logistics experience is an asset.
  • Forklift certification or experience is preferred but not required. Training and certification can be provided.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems or handheld RF scanners is an asset.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the day.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
  • Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
