About the Role

Reporting to the Director, Finance & Administration, the position is primarily responsible for assisting with full cycle accounting and cost accounting for our group of US and Canadian companies. You will be dynamic and thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with full cycle accounting including posting journal entries, performing GL account reconciliations, overseeing and record intercompany transactions
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reporting
  • Developing and implementing accounting related policies and procedures including internal controls
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure accurate cost capture and alignment with manufacturing processes
  • Monitor and analyze cost variances (standard vs. actual), investigating root causes and partnering with Operations on corrective actions
  • Assist with ERP Radius implementation
  • Assist with year end annual review for group of companies
  • Other projects and tasks assigned by the Director, Finance & Administration

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in accounting or related discipline
  • Preference towards working on a CPA Designation
  • Must have 3+ years of recent related accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous ERP experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills

Work Environment

This role is based on manufacturing and office environment and operates in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting where priorities may shift and teamwork is essential. The position requires a high level of professionalism and customer-focused communication.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
