Job Description
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Senior Fire Alarm Technician will ensure inspection, maintenance, and emergency service of fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Inspection, service and troubleshooting of existing fire alarm systems
  • Performing upgrades, repairs, additions or improvements to systems following inspection
  • Preparation of inspection, and deficiencies reports in a timely manner
  • Respond to emergency calls during evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis

Success Factors

  • Diploma in Fire Protection Technology/Technologist or other relevant training
  • CFAA certification
  • 5 years of relevant experience in service and inspection of fire alarm systems
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of CAN/ULC standards S536
  • Knowledge of Notifier products (an asset)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work well independently
