Veterinary Assistant – Full-Time

Dog and Cat Clinic of Niagara

We are currently seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team at Dog and Cat Clinic of Niagara. This is a full-time position in a friendly, supportive environment where you’ll work closely with experienced veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians.

Experience is a must in the veterinary field

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist veterinarians during patient examinations
  • Support technicians in preparing for surgeries (including orthopedic procedures)
  • Collect blood samples
  • Place IV catheters
  • Provide daily care and handling of patients
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for working with animals
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a clinical setting
  • Previous experience is an asset, but not required
