Full job description

The Industry Reality

Commercial cleaning runs while the rest of the world sleeps. Our buyers are the ones who make sure a building is spotless by 6 AM, whether that means coordinating night crews, covering a last-minute shift, or protecting margins in a competitive business. Swept gives them the visibility to do it all without losing sleep themselves.

About Swept

Swept is the operating system for commercial cleaning companies. We help janitorial operators replace late-night chaos, text messages, and guesswork with purpose-built software. Our platform helps them manage their teams, retain clients, and run profitable businesses. We are a growing SaaS company serving hundreds of cleaning operators across North America, and we are looking for a Senior Account Executive to accelerate our growth.

The Role

We don’t need a “talking head” who pitches features. We need an empathetic, commercially sharp listener. You will own full-cycle sales at Swept, handling a mix of high-intent inbound leads and targeted outbound prospecting and be accountable to close the sale.Your job is to listen deeply to hands-on, time-strapped business owners, uncover the true cost of their operational bottlenecks, and run highly tailored, problem-focused product demos that prove how Swept will give them their evenings and help them grow their business.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Full Sales Cycle: Work inbound leads with urgency while proactively building targeted outbound pipeline for mid-market cleaning companies. You own the revenue from first touch to signed contract.
  • Lead Deep Business Discovery: Listen first. You will ask the right questions to understand an operator’s labor costs, night-shift turnover, and bidding challenges before you ever recommend a solution.
  • Deliver Compelling, Tailored Demos: Run interactive, problem-first product walkthroughs. You won't just click through features, you will show owners exactly how Swept solves their specific late-night headaches and protects their bottom line.
  • Speak the Buyer’s Language: Communicate with authority, authenticity, and empathy to hands-on business owners who value speed, trust, and real ROI over technical software jargon.
  • Manage Pipeline Rigorously: Maintain high CRM discipline (HubSpot), forecast accurately, and nurture long-term opportunities.

What You Bring

  • 3-5+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS closing experience, ideally selling to SMBs, mid-market businesses, or owner-operators.
  • Extreme Empathy & Active Listening: You are a listener, not a pitchperson. You understand how small-to-medium businesses operate (margins, labor costs, retention) and can hold peer-level, consultative conversations with founders.
  • A Balanced Hunter/Closer Mindset: You take pride in closing inbound demand quickly, but you have the discipline and drive to prospect your own high-value accounts when pipeline needs padding.
  • Hands-on Product Fluency: You are not afraid to get into the software. You are energized by showing live SaaS solutions both on the web and mobile apps, adapting on the fly, and mapping features directly to dollars saved.
  • Self-Direction: You are a builder who thrives with autonomy. You’ll have coaching and support from our team, but you don't wait for structure to be handed to you.
  • Analysis & Technical acumen: You can easily navigate screenshares, mobile mirroring and tech stack for sales including Win/Loss analysis reporting to leadership.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in vertical SaaS, Field Service Management (FSM), property management, or selling directly to trades/blue-collar operators.
  • Experience using AI tools to increase sales velocity and personalize outreach.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary + strong commission structure with uncapped upside (OTE details shared in the interview process).
  • A remote-first team across Canada.
  • A purpose-built vertical solution. Swept is designed specifically for commercial cleaning operators, meaning you're selling a specialized tool with no real generalist alternative to buyers who feel the pain immediately.
  • A small, high-trust team where your work has a visible, immediate impact on the business.

Swept is committed to building a diverse team. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds eligible to work in Canada.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Disability insurance
  • Employee assistance program
  • Extended health care
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Work from home

Work Location: Remote
