Dental Administrator – Uplands Dental (Thornhill, ON)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, friendly, and detail-oriented Dental Administrator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing outstanding patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients with a warm, professional demeanor
  • Manage appointment scheduling and optimize the daily schedule
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and patient inquiries
  • Process insurance claims, pre-determinations, and billing
  • Collect and record payments accurately
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
  • Coordinate treatment plans and follow-ups with patients
  • Support the clinical team with administrative needs

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a dental office (preferred)
  • Knowledge of dental software (e.g., Tracker, Dentrix, AbelDent) is an asset
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Familiarity with dental insurance and billing procedures
  • Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude

Schedule

  • Full-time available
  • Monday-Thursday & 2 Saturdays per month
