About the Role

As the AI Technical Lead at Martell Group, you'll be the engine behind our product, translating real-world business problems into lightning-fast, scalable AI solutions.

You'll work side-by-side with a commercially proven co-founder under Martell Group' battle-tested venture studio model, owning everything from architecture to iteration velocity. This role is perfect for a pragmatic, execution-led builder ready to ship with speed, autonomy, and clarity, without the fundraising distraction.

What you'll do

You will take a validated product concept and turn it into a shipped, scalable SaaS product. Early on you build the foundational stack and convert concierge delivery into software. As the customer base grows, you harden the product, set engineering standards, and prepare the ground for future hires.

Specifically you will:

  • Inherit the validated customer list and offer from your Business Leader.
  • Ship a functional first version fast, using AI tooling and modern frameworks.
  • Build only what customers have asked and paid for. No speculative features.
  • Own code quality, performance, and security from day one.
  • Support customer demos, integrations, and escalations alongside your Business Leader.
  • Set the engineering bar for the first technical hires that follow you.

What success looks like

  • A first product version live and in paying customers' hands within the first two months.
  • A product that does what your Business Leader sold. Nothing more.
  • A codebase another engineer can pick up in a week.
  • A venture on a credible path to meaningful ARR inside the first year.

What you bring

Required

  • 5+ years shipping SaaS products. Founding engineer or technical co-founder experience required.
  • Experience building and shipping with LLMs, agents, and modern AI tooling.
  • Proven ability to work solo in early stages, scrappy and autonomous.
  • Full-time commitment.

Preferred

  • Prior product reached revenue while you led the tech.
  • Prior success inside Dan Martell's network or programs.
  • Product intuition backed by real customer contact, not just GitHub commits.
