Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to perfection while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.
  • Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Experience in meal preparation and cooking techniques within the food industry.
  • Proficient in food handling and preparation methods.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
