About Us:

Now, more than 50 years later, we have grown from modest beginnings to become one of North America’s largest, privately held, fully integrated recyclers of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals.

About the Role:
We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Team Member. The position will be stationed at our 1640 Brampton St location in the city of Hamilton, ON. This position will be responsible for inspecting, grading, sorting and processing non-ferrous scrap metals to achieve operational goals and objectives. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, the control and care of the industrial forklift and skid steer equipment which is used for shipping, receiving and production purposes. There is 1 vacancy for this position.

Wage:
  • $25.09 per hour.
Shift Details:
  • Continental shift rotation, 7:00AM – 7:00PM & 7:00PM – 7:00AM, 7 regular shifts (84 hours) in a two-week period, with the opportunity for overtime!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick materials in accordance with established quality standards.
  • Clear material jams using Skid Steer equipment and other manual tools.
  • Material movement and organization using forklift equipment.
  • General troubleshooting of sortation equipment.
  • General housekeeping activates as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Standards that mirror Triple M Metal’s Core Values of Respect, Ethics, Service, Team and Pride.
  • Previous experience in a physically demanding role.
  • Previous experience working at heights.
  • Previous experience working on a continental shift.
  • Previous experience operating forklift and skid steer equipment.
  • Physical ability to wear respirator throughout shift.
Bonus Points:
  • Previous experience operating a boom lift.
