Lead logistics. Support customers. Keep equipment moving safely and efficiently.

Brunswick Lift Rentals is growing and remains committed to providing our customers with the reliable service and equipment solutions they need in today's fast-paced market. With years of experience providing top-brand aerial lift and material handling equipment, we continue to grow through expanded product offerings, strong customer relationships, and the value-added services that have supported our customers over the years.

We are currently looking to hire our next great team member for the position of Logistics Manager. This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on, safety-minded operational leader who enjoys coordinating people, equipment, schedules, and resources in a fast-moving branch environment.

What You'll Do

As the Logistics Manager, you'll play a key role in leading the safe, efficient, and customer-focused movement of equipment across the branch network. This role oversees daily logistics execution, dispatch, transportation planning, driver coordination, yard flow, equipment movement, inter-branch transfers, delivery and pickup planning, and communication between Operations, Service, Sales, Dispatch, Branch Managers, and customers.

  • Lead daily logistics, dispatch, and transportation activities, including deliveries, pickups, exchanges, inter-branch transfers, and emergency dispatches.
  • Plan and oversee routes based on geography, urgency, equipment readiness, driver capacity, customer commitments, and branch priorities.
  • Coordinate with Dispatchers, Drivers, Yard staff, Service, Inside Sales, Branch Managers, and branch leadership to keep equipment moving efficiently.
  • Work with Branch Managers to identify underutilized equipment and coordinate internal transfers to branches with stronger demand and utilization opportunities.
  • Partner with Service and Sales to confirm equipment readiness, customer commitments, delivery requirements, and pickup timing.
  • Support safe driving practices, load securement, PPE expectations, jobsite safety communication, and documentation requirements.
  • Monitor logistics performance, utilization opportunities, branch transfer activity, route efficiency, delivery accuracy, and transportation cost control.
  • Coach, support, and set clear expectations for logistics team members, including Dispatchers, Drivers, Yard staff, and Logistics Coordinators where applicable.

What Makes You Successful

  • You are an organized, safety-minded leader who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, dispatchers, customers, sales, service, Branch Managers, and leadership.
  • You understand the importance of planning, routing, equipment readiness, documentation, and follow-through.
  • You take ownership of service commitments and look for practical ways to reduce delays, improve workflow, and support customer satisfaction.
  • You are comfortable using systems, reports, spreadsheets, and operational data to support better logistics and asset allocation decisions.
  • You lead with accountability, teamwork, urgency, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required

  • Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, rental operations, fleet management, construction equipment, or a related operational leadership role.
  • Equipment rental, construction, industrial services, trucking, or material handling experience.
  • Strong understanding of routing, scheduling, delivery planning, equipment movement, utilization, fleet balancing, and customer service.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
  • Safety-first mindset and practical knowledge of transportation safety expectations.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced branch environment and respond to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work legally in Canada.

Preferred

  • Experience leading Drivers, Dispatchers, Logistics Coordinators, Yard teams, or other frontline operations staff.
  • Experience using dispatch systems, rental systems, fleet tracking tools, utilization reports, KPI reports, or spreadsheets.
  • Experience supporting route efficiency, fleet utilization, equipment transfers, cost control, or branch operations improvements.
